31 Days of Make Believe: Meet Jennifer, Day 20
Jennifer the Laundress at The Dirty Shirt is our featured blogger of the day. She uses Jentifa if Jennifer is taken, ("and it usually is; there are so many Jennifers") when she's online. Jen is from the beginning of her name and the Tifa part comes from her favorite video games series Final Fantasy. She is Jennifer's favorite character. Of course she says she started that name when she was a leader in the online version of Final Fantasy. But it stuck with her. Her daughter says it sounds like a snooty person is saying Jennifer.
Jennifer usually blogs about what is going on in the craziness she likes to call her life. The highs, lows and in betweens of life with an awesome hubby and three kids. Jennifer's hubby works from home and she is home and the kids are home schooled. People often ask her how they are all still sane.

What did you always want to be when you grew up as a kid? Why?
I always wanted to be an Advertising Executive. I have never been quite sure why, but I know that I loved putting together little newsletters and magazines that I passed out to the family. I even hired my little brother one time and gave him a quarter of my allowance to help color in the ads and then deliver the papers to everyone.
What is your favorite fairy tale and why?
That would have to be Beauty & the Beast because it shows that bad doesn’t have to win over in someone, you just have to work at being a better person. Have a positive outlook on life and in the process you can fall in love.
It is the night of the big ball. The one you are destined to marry is among the crowd, so you’ve dressed your best. Describe your outfit.
My hair is pulled up with small sections hanging down in curls by my ears. I have a gorgeous sapphire hanging on a delicate silver chain around my neck. My dress is a sky blue flowing silk gown with long sleeves with silver accents and bows on my arms and on the belt that gathers in the back. My slippers are glass (hey I can have some too) because no pressure will be put on them because I glide into the ball.
Your life has been selected to be featured in an upcoming fairy tale style movie. What is the title and premise?
Jennifer and the Junkyard Journey
A fair maiden with gorgeous black hair needs to be saved from the perils of all the junk she has collected. She desperately seeks to hold on to everything she has, that is until a brown haired stranger steps in to her life and helps her clean it up and live clutter free. (Sorry, packing and getting ready to move, I have a one-track mind at the moment lol)
You need to be rescued. Where are you and what is going on around you? Describe the scene as your hero approaches.
I am trapped in a room with monsters all around; I am trying desperately to escape. The sounds they make are frightening and I try to ignore them and keep my panic down as I look for a way out. They are constantly clawing at me, ripping my shorts, and getting slime all over. I frantically reach for the doorknob, when, suddenly it opens. The room is bathed in a bright white light. In walks my hero, my husband. He turns on all the lights and tells the kids to calm down and hands me a glass of wine and tells me to take the rest of the night off.
